Mangatiti Bloodstock is a thoroughbred property of some 53 acres of rich alluvial soil situated just 10 minutes from Palmerston North, at the lower end of New Zealand's North Island. We specialise in all equine agistment, hydrotherapy, racing and sales preparation - catering specifically for your horses individual needs.

At Mangatiti Bloodstock we aim to provide complete care for the thoroughbred from conception to the racetrack. Whether it be taking mares for foaling or walking in, preparing horses for sale or training horses for race-day - Mangatiti Bloodstock can do it all. With the Equine Water Treadmill operating in a new barn it is available to resident horses and walkins.

Mangatiti Bloodstock is a family run operation with owners Tony and Judith Bambry considering it very important to treat all horses as their own giving your horse the best possible treatment all round.

Tony has a very hands-on approach, he holds a training licence and has recently bought up his first training double in a day at Awapuni with Dubai Belle and Gold'N'Casino. Much of his recent success he attributes to being able to utilise the on site Equine Water Treadmill in his training regime for the horses aswell as being only 10 minutes from the Awapuni race track.

Judith and Tony's daughter Chrissy who is also heavily involved in Australasian yearling and weanling sales also works on the farm aswell as having a qualified vet nurse and trackwork rider on the staffing team.

It is vital to Mangatiti Bloodstock to have such a high quality team involved to provide the best care possible for all horses in all aspects of the farm whether it be agisting, pretraining, hydrotherpay, race training or foaling.
